Bowler's training session
A special centre wicket bowler training session is scheduled with Shane Martin and Michael Harden providing 1 on 1 coaching for the entire night. All bowlers are welcome.

The yellow pages are now ready to be delivered. Your URGENT assistance is required. Money raised through this fundraiser keeps subs down. Subs discounts apply for every day you spend delivering (more if you bring a car and trailer).

Holty scores 100 for Sidley CC
Holty scored his 1st Ton for the season at Sidley CC, opening the batting he scored 111 and was the last man dismissed. Unfortunately Sidley lost again in a dismal season they failed to win a game and will be relegated to Division 3. Holty scored 483 runs at 34.5 and took 7 wickets at 68.

Updated junior pre-season training times
The first junior training session (all grades) will be held at ICC Woodlands (375 Cross Road, Edwardstown) on Wednesday 1st October, 4.00 - 5.30pm.
Regular outdoor training will commence at Goodwood Oval on the following dates:
U11: Wednesday 3.30 - 4.30 pm, from October 15th5th August, 2008

Coaching appointment
The Goodwood Cricket Club is pleased to announce that Michael Harden has accepted the assistant coaching position alongside captain/coach Shane Martin for the upcoming 2008/09 season.
Michael has an imposing record, playing 147 A-Grade games with Prospect & Sturt, taking 378 wickets at an average of 21. His knowledge & experience gained at A-Grade District and State 2nd XI level will be valuable to all players within Goodwood CC.
The re-appointment of Shane Martin is also great news for Goodwood CC. His leadership & experience over the past two seasons has been enormous with all the club's playing group showing constant improvement and the A-Grade being promoted back to Premier League.
Shane has played A-Grade District (Salisbury & Glenelg), represented South Australia, and graduated from the ACB Cricket Academy so his knowledge of the game has been taught to him by some of Australia's leading coaches.
The Club will be fielding 7 senior teams & 8 junior teams this season. Any players interested in joining a successful club with outstanding facilities and quality coaches, please call Jason Scroop (0408 855 238) or Jeff Emmel (0403 570 915).
